Big Thorn Farm & Brewery
Big Thorn Farm & Brewery is a 15-acre, off-the-grid, solar-powered brewery and farm located in Georgetown, Illinois. One of the owners approached Joe to design a unique logo that embodied the aesthetic of the surrounding landscape and the character of the farm. The result is a rustic yet refined logo that uses a hand-drawn illustration of a honey locust branch to frame the farm’s name.
The final logo was then adapted into a series of bottle labels currently in use in addition to several logos for recurring annual events and The Truck, Big Thorn’s onsite food truck.
